Light as a Feather
I bought the Sonata vest in Black and Flame (orange).
The only reason I returned it was the sizing for Oregon Research was not the same as my other jackets and vest by the same company.
Normally, a Medium fits perfectly in that brand. The Medium in the Sonata vest was too small. I tried to order the Large, but it was not available.
I used another company, and the Large fits perfectly.
I haven't worn the vest in stormy or damp weather, so cannot judge those qualities.

Perfect Fit
I love this vest! I have been searching for a down vest that would fit my petite body and I finally found it. Have tried many Patagonia vests and they just didn't fit my 5'0 ft frame, I weigh about 100 lbs. I got the xs and it fits perfectly, not too tight, but the shape is very flattering and the vest is not too short, hits right at my hips. There is also a cinch cord at waist to snug it up, which I love. Got this vest for a great deal here on Campsaver!
