Great Slipper; Not so good for a camp shoe.

by Randy, from CA, United States Written on December 3, 2020
I was originally looking for a warm and light weight camp shoe for backpacking trips. These shoes are indeed warm and light weight but I wouldn’t use them as camp shoes. The soles have no support and the material looks like it would easy be torn up my rough rocks and campground debris. However, after trying them on around the house I decided to keep them as slippers. They are warm and comfy... For light weight camp shoes I have gone with Birkenstock Barbados Eva waterproof, 1 strap sandals. For size 13 they only weigh 9.2 oz and are very comfortable. After a hard day of hiking I like to air out my feet and will wear my warm wool socks, that I sleep in, with them around camp.
