This is the second Whirlwind I’ve owned. This new one is a huge improvement over the old. The material feels the same, but the fit is improved (a little more snug). It is now easy to get the piece stored in the chest pocket, and the hood fits better too and is now adjustable. I’m 5’10 155 pounds and went with the medium. It fits well. Some observations: The hood fits better under a helmet I will use this mostly as a climbing layer that provides sun protection. Perfect for layering!

Hoody has enough room to wear a 1/4 zip fleece under it and provides good protection from the wind and light rain. I absolutely love this jacket. It is perfect to stuff in a daypack.
