I bought a new Pret helmet to replace my wired audio helmet. I have to remove it from the ear pocket to charge each time whereas it appears the Smith helmets are designed to charge them in place. Had I known, I might have purchased a Smith helmet. The sound quality wasn't as good as my previous audio helmet so I was a little disappointed for the $100+ price. Super easy to set up, controls are easy to use, and no more wire tangles. Overall I am generally happy, but was also surprised the wire was green instead of red like in the pictures.

I upgraded to the BT chips from ear buds. I was sick of catching the cord. The chips fit right into the ear pads of my helmet and all of the wires are zipped into the liner. No wires - pretty slick. Everything is controlled by tapping the outside of the speaker through the fabric ear pad! Battery life has been good so far. I'm impressed.
