Towel is very snaggy. Based on another reviewer claiming this was similar to a normal towel we purhased two large towels. Do not buy expecting a plush non-snaggy material. As of this date we have not found a non-snaggy fast drying towel.

Like a towel, but so many more benefits!

These towels are loopy soft like a cotton bath towel, but they’re really quick drying, and don’t smell after a few uses like cotton towels can. Plus as a bonus, Campsaver offers them at a great price!

  • Cooling effects when wet

Almost spa-like luxury that fits in a small packable pouch

These towels are so plush and ample, and I love the colors they come in. They dry fast, and fit in the smallest zip pouch that can easily pack into a bag or in the car for camping. I purchased two of the beach size, and they are large enough to totally wrap the body after showering at camp, large enough to use at the beach, and have a luxurious feel similar enough to a cotton towel. A couple of negatives to mention -they do pick up leaves and such if they drag across the ground, and they are hard to untangle. These towels go for around $48 dollars full price- I find it hard to understand why they cost so much, and even at half price, they were still an expensive towel, so I took of one star of the 5.

  • plush, packable and take up much less space than a similarly sized cotton towel, colorful
Cons:
  • price, and ground debris sticks to it
Best Used for:
  • car camping, beach

So soft!

I love the packtowl luxe. It is so soft, feels like a regular cotton towel, yet it is packable and fast drying. It also comes with a zippered stuff pouch. This towel is such a better option than the packtowl original if you are looking for something closer to at home comfort while traveling or camping.
