A slimmer cut than the Barely Hipsters, and cut slightly smaller in general, these are every bit as wonderful. They are quick-drying, breathe, and are light as a feather!
I have several pairs of Patagonia underwear from past years in both the active hipster and bikini styles. I tend to like the bikini style on me better. These are a different fabric than my last batch of bikinis, and much closer to the softer, slightly sleek material of my older hipsters. The material is comfortable, but hopefully they'll stay down on my butt. They seem like they will. I bought my usual M and they fit fine (I'm 5'8", 150 lbs, larger hips/butt). I took off one star for the frustration of having to remove the sewn-in tags on each pair. I was able to do this without damaging the garment, as it seems it was an extra piece of thread used for the tags. But not exactly the "tagless for itch-free comfort" that was advertised.

I suppose I only have myself to blame for not getting the "boyshort" cut, but I thought the term "barely" meant minimal panty lines, which is not the case. They are comfy and minimize the "swamp butt" effect, but I wouldn't recommend wearing them with leggings. Awkward.

I ordered these panties after learning that thongs were a terrible idea for camping and hiking. The bikinis are easy to hand wash, and they dry practically overnight. The material is thin, so it breathes, and I can hardly tell I'm wearing them. The cut is low enough to stay below the waist of my shorts. Wedgies are not an issue with these. The texture is really pretty, too. They do not have a cott
