I love these pants, I wear them all the time. I took them climbing and camping; and they worked perfectly.

light weight, comfort, multi function
this pant is very good pant that i used, because it is very light weight that very good for hiking and camping, while using this pants, the cutting is suit for me and comfort, so that it makes me want to wear it for a long time. furthermore, i also wear it in daily because it is to match causal style.

Patagonia Gi III Convertible review
They are very well made. I'm a 37 waist/30 inseam and bought size XL having already tried the L which was an inch too shy around the waist. For me they are a little too slim through the leg tunnels which makes them tight if I want to layer over something heavy like jeans. I had a similar REI product that I actually liked better but they don't make them anymore. The other detail I liked better about REI's product was that the pocket style was similar to jeans where entry is from the top making it hard for things to slip out when you're seated. The Gi III's have a slash pocket.

my favorite hiking pants
love these pants for hiking. They are light and airy. Don't get too hot wearing them. dry fast too. Been hiking all summer in them.
