Most Helpful Positive Review Very Warm
I use this jacket on my way to work in Tokyo by bicycle. Tokyo winter is pretty cold. It get 0 degree at times. (So far it's only about 5 degree) This jacket keeps me warm and provide nice ride. It has good wind protection as well.

Weird fit

I don't love the cobalt blue color. Also I did not like the fit. Too much room in the chest area and it seemed to puff out? For reference I am 5'5 130, 34 bust. I got the small which is my normal Patagonia size. On the other hand it was VERY comfy. Not quite warm enough when the wind blows and so I will be returning!

Just what I wanted.

This jacket is exactly what I wanted it to be - warm and functional! I am 5'1" and 115 lbs and an XS fits great with room for a fleece underneath - and it also covers my butt, which is great! The hood is a bit roomy for me, but stays up very well with a hat underneath. I really like that the elastic on the wrists works but is not too tight. Has already kept me warm in below freezing temperatures and I'm sure it will continue to do so for a long time!

Finally found "THE" jacket

I work outside for a living. Am in New York sometimes and reside in Kentucky where it is damp and frigid. Was looking for a jacket that would pack and not be bulky but keep me warm when standing around outdoors this winter. After purchasing the # 1 rated Mountain Hardware Ghost Whisperer and not being impressed, I returned it and a outdoor tech representative who owned both this and the Ghost Whisperer suggested this Patagonia coat. I have other Patagonia items and know and love the quality so I gave it a try. This coat met my high expectations and the features are very nice. Sticking with Patagonia in the future.

Great jacket!

I'm expecting this jacket to keep me warm for winter camping, ice climbing, and lunch breaks while hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. It definitely won't weigh down my pack, which is always appreciated. The drawcords on the hood and hem are awesome! Can't wait to use it! (I'm 5'5", 125 lbs and the small fits really well.)

Lightweight and Warm

I think this jacket is right on. It's lightweight, very warm and versatile. I am a true medium but I read reviews which warned about it running small so I ordered a large. It's a little big but not bad at all and I can layer my patagonia retool hoodie underneath it for extra warmth. So, it's perfect for me. Long enough to cover the top of your backside so no cool drafts. Great coat, beautifu

Just what I wanted

The only down side I have found is that the fabric gets caught in the zippers often. I'm afraid it's going to tear. It fits better than a lot of other brands for women. It's slimming where it should be and not boxy like other coats I had tried on. I have fairly long arms so I do wish the sleeves were a little longer but, again, better than other brands. Lovely and warm

This jacket has a very flattering feminine cut. I love that the hemline falls lower, especially in the back. The fabric is durable, yet soft, and very cozy. The jacket keeps me quite warm, especially with the hood on, which is nice and deep. I can comfortably wear a hat under the hood. I feel that the jacket will be quite long lasting. I have already had to wash it, and it came out perfectly

Great jacket except color

Great jacket. Super warm and suits my needs. However, if you are fashion conscious and expecting a reddish color, well, this jacket isn't it. I was very surprised when I opened the package and the jacket was more "salmon" than maraschino as stated and shown.
