Winter running shorts for my marathon training
I love Patagonia and I already had a pair of the unlined nine trails shorts so I wanted the reg nine trails shorts for more carrying capacity and warmth in winter. They definitely have that. The main features I like are the deep, well positioned pockets that zipper shut and the quick drying poly material. I still wear underwear with the liner but one could get away with not as the liner is very soft.

Quality product
As with other Patagonia products, this short is made out of quality material to last for a long time. The size is true to fit and the lining is made out of a material that does not compress a lot, thus giving room to move freely. I like the zippered pockets on the sides, because they hold small items such as keys or a power bar without worrying to drop them. The side pockets are narrow, so you cannot fit a larger item such as a small water bottle.
