Quandary is a great pair of light hiking pants for all seasons other than winter(unless you wear layers under). They are great fit and very durable and hold up to the rigors of hiking and everyday wear n tear. Only negative is that my pair the DWR did not work when I was out on a hike with light to medium rain fall for 20-30min, water soaked through to my skin and did not bead off like other DWR hiking pants that I own that have the DWR treatment(arcteryx, rei, & runbold)
Pros:
Great fit and durablity
Cons:
DWR did not work with rain fall
Best Used for:
Hiking and everyday wear

These pants fit great and are wonderful for hiking in all weather. They are waterproof and have several well placed pockets. Got to find more of them in other colors. They have an elastic rope inside that you can use to tighten the fit in addition to belt loops.

Comfortable and good for warmer weather hikes. I prefer my Prana Stretch Zion pants for colder and more day to day usage. Both pants have good stretch and double as none hiking pants in a pinch. I like the color selection more with the Prana's as well.
Pros:
Comfortable
Light
Cons:
None

They are very well made, but cut for a stylish look more than for interacting with nature. I bought Patagonia because of their commitment to the environment & their lifetime guarantee, it's too bad that their design prioritizes style over function

Bought this second pair of Quandary pants because I was so pleased with the first: what more can I say? Light to carry, dry overnight after wash in the hotel sink, good pockets, fit well.
