We've spent 10 or 15 nights in this tent so far. We use it for car camping, not backpacking; we just wanted something roomy, warm and easy to set up, and this looked like it. I have to say, after years of using high-end backpacking equipment, I was a little shocked to see the lack of attention to detail on this tent -- threads from the fabric edges are coming out of the felled seams, and there's a spot on the side where it looks like a seam was sewn (where no seam should be) and later removed. These issues don't affect the tent's performance, but they don't exactly inspire confidence. There's also a (taped) seam running down the floor of the tent, which I've never seen before -- but, I've never bought a tent this wide before, so maybe all tents this size are like that? Basically, it feels low-quality to me, but since I haven't bought a tent that retailed for less than $350 in a long time, my expectations might be unreasonably high.
Things I like about the tent:
Size is good. You could get 3 people in there, but you'd really have to like each other. It's great for 2, or 2 and a dog. Great headroom.
I like that the footprint and poles clip in -- no having them accidentally come off while setting up or shaking out the tent
Good number of pockets
The curved vestibule doors are my favorite feature. Unzipped from the top, they provide ventilation/stargazing that is easily closed up if it starts to rain.
