I chose this lanyard because you can vary both the total length and the ratio between the long and short lengths of the lanyard. Reading the reviews elsewhere, I thought the knot to the harness would be too bulky, but was glad to see that it was not. I’m not sure this lanyard would be very useful for rock climbing, but it’s an excellent choice for caving and canyoning where following fixed lines and performing SRT are common.
