This is for the new gold version. It came in a couple of days. Works like the old one which is pretty good. A little easier to put on the rope as it had a sliding release instead of the pin thingy. Works fine on dry 9.8 rope. Haven't tried it on icy rope yet. I got as backup for ice climbing.

1.very easy to use load on system!
2.very fast to use load on system!
3.There are no extra parts. It will cause equipment failure or parts loss.
4.It can be installed on the rope very quickly, and can be quickly adjusted in the appropriate position.

smooth, dependable action

As is typical of Petzl products, the Rescucender is another example of quality design and construction. Easy to use, and gives smooth, dependable action. I use it as second ascender in a 2-rope self-belay system (no teeth!).

  • Second ascender in self-belay system/ascending ropes
