Bought leverlock (basket toe and lever rear bindings) and used std linking bar on my size 45 scarpa phantom 6000 dbl boots. Chose this binding instead of LL fil because I was unsure how it would fit on the narrow toe welt of the 6000. Used for moderate packed snow and up to NEI 4+ ice climbs. Only used for two days but worked very well and was very secure. If you want a pure ice pon look elsewhere. I wanted something that could do it all well. Haven't tried in flex mode but expecting that setup to work well on my heavy hiking boots. Lots of adjustment options for a good fit.

I bought these crampons and they turned out to be of very good quality, like everything from the Petzl brand. They have kept the edge on their tips despite walking on rock in some places. I recommend them.

They are very easy to put on mountaineering boots. They climb in hard ice really well. Used them on 30deg ice and they held up really well. A little on the heavier side but they provide really secure footing.

These crampons hold on very well, no worries there! Just make sure your boot can hold on to the heel bar. They work well on moutnaineering boots and ski boots. Had to get the long bar for them to fit my ski boots (29.5 mondo size).
