Lightweight and bright - Petzl Tactikka Plus RGB LED Headlamp

This is really a 4.5 star review. The 0.5 deduction is solely because of the clip and switch. The clip is not needed and adds grams. The single switch takes some getting used to for changing colors. That is simply a training issue tho. The light itself is nicely bright enough for what I’ll use it for, generally lighting around camp and along trails. I didn’t need a long throw light so didn’t buy one. The white light has 3 brightness levels and the red, green, blue come on in that order after a long hold then a quick click gets each flashing. So, long hold to red, quick click to flashing red, another click is off, wash, rinse, repeat. The light comes back on at the last setting, which is good for night use as you won’t have to go through the white light to get to your preferred color. All in all very glad I got this light.
