Got this because there was a coupon and its thickness. I sleep on my side so thicker is usually better but I had to deflate to about 70% to get comfortable. If you like firm tho, this is the one to get.

This is really a 4.5 star review. The 0.5 deduction is solely because of the clip and switch. The clip is not needed and adds grams. The single switch takes some getting used to for changing colors. That is simply a training issue tho. The light itself is nicely bright enough for what I’ll use it for, generally lighting around camp and along trails. I didn’t need a long throw light so didn’t buy one. The white light has 3 brightness levels and the red, green, blue come on in that order after a long hold then a quick click gets each flashing. So, long hold to red, quick click to flashing red, another click is off, wash, rinse, repeat. The light comes back on at the last setting, which is good for night use as you won’t have to go through the white light to get to your preferred color. All in all very glad I got this light. Hope this helps.

BA pads tend to take quite a few breaths to fill, so this pump bag is essential. Works very easily and quickly, but also doubles as a dry sack as long as the cap stays closed. I wish it had adapters or something so I could use it in all of my pads. Definitely a good buy.

I was looking for an ultralight sleeping pad that was on the thicker side and researched several brands. Big Agness consistently had the best reviews. I used the pad last weekend in the mountains and it performed admirably. It was really slippery when combined with my sleeping bag though which is both items’ issue. Have to figure out a lightweight fix for that as there really aren’t many perfectly flat spots on a mountain...

Just received the bag and was disappointed at how thin it was. Thin fabric is fine for a Lw bag, but fill is very... uh... sparse. Caveat emptor. I’ll have to test it in the field to see how it does, but am definitely taking a back up bag or a couple of woobies just in case. Also, zipper is not full length it barely goes down to my hips.

I bought one of these cots in 2015 and so far I have used it 250+ nights solely while in hunt camp. So far, I have had only one leg assembly break and the fabric has some seam tears, but it is still functional. It is extremely comfortable and easy to set up, but while some people may complain about the squeaky noises coming from the side poles and fabric, I didn’t find it annoying in the least. Anyone looking for a lightweight cot should get one of these while there is still stock. TravelChair has come out with a new model of cot to replace this one and when mine finally dies, I will most definitely be getting one.

Flavor was great, but if you use the amounts of water as instructed, it’ll be too thick. This applies to both the potatoes and gravy which need to be prepped separately Flavor-wise, it is a bit bland, but I bring spices anyway. This is definitely not a one pouch type of meal. All of that said, if you like turkey, mash and gravy, this is the way to go.

I bought a few of these to use as snacks for whenever I’m out and about. A) they take way too long to set. B) the pouch should be wide and short rather than narrow and tall, and c) they could cut down on the flavorings and oil. This is better prepped in a bowl than the pouch and can get a bit much to eat even one serving. Good idea though not having to always boil water.

This works really well. Now, if only the makers of the tubes and connectors would get their act together The big brush has a kink in it to get better scrubbing action on the bladder. Some may think the bristles are a bit stiff for the coated type of bladder like MSR, but I think they are just right. It’s down to how much elbow grease you use. Personal responsibility and all that.
