Great idea. It worked as indicated. I am not a big fan of dealing with the hose. I will most likely go to a liter platypus in the future with the carabiner slot to hang off of my pack. This is a personal preference more than anything else. the product worked as planned. I took it on an extended backpack of the High Sierra’s. Wouldn’t use it again, just not for me.
