Good capacity, good design. I like to be able to close off the valve to prevent leakage. On a recent hiking trip, mine was the only one that didnt leak from the mouth peice, also the easiest to fill up without any spillage. Big fan of Platypus products.

It can be tough to get your water bottles from your pack’s side pockets while hiking, and even tougher to return them. Great idea. It worked as indicated. I am not a big fan of dealing with the hose. I will most likely go to a liter platypus in the future with the carabiner slot to hang off of my pack. This is a personal preference more than anything else. the product worked as planned. I took it on an extended backpack of the High Sierra’s. Wouldn’t use it again, just not for me.
