Most Helpful Positive Review 3 liter capacity
It’s perfect for my needs.I like this because it holds more more water than the 2 liter similar water pouch and great for long hot hikes. It also fits nicely in my day and backpacking pack and is lightweight. Happy hiking.

What a Hoser

by Josyf, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on June 17, 2021
This bladder is great. there's no bad taste. The connection is secure and the water doesn't spill.
The bite valve works well
Its a little tricky putting the connector back after you refill it.
All in all it was a good buy.

Its a great bladder

by JRod, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on February 22, 2019
This is my third Platypus bladder. I have had Camelbak ones in the past but have always found them incredibly difficult to clean as the fill section is placed on the front on many leaving little crevices. These are just easier to clean and are lighter at the same time.

Overall Great

by Elizabeth H., Written on August 12, 2016
Overall, this is a great product. My only two comments are that it's a little hard to get the water flowing at first, and isn't ideal for cleaning. You can't really get into the body of the bag to wash it out, so I'm just hoping air-drying with the cap unscrewed will do the trick. Other than that, great product!

Tried and True Backpacking Reservoir

by WildGene, Written on December 12, 2013
Tried the Osprey designed Hydraform Reservoir in 2012 (see my review) but nothing beats the basic function, easy of use and durability of the Hoser reservoirs I have used over 5 years. Note: adaptable to the new Sawyer Squeeze Filter with a "tornado adapter".

Great for everyone

by John is Outdoor, from WA, United States Written on December 12, 2013
I picked up 2 of these! A 1.0 L for my 3 year old and a 1.8 L for my 5 year old. They love drinking from these. The tubing is way too long for a kids daypack. There are simple instructions included for trimming the length of the tube. It works perfect for them and its one more thing that gets them excited about hiking and backpacking. I wish is worked on my wife too!! :)

Just what I was looking for

by Viking Zach, Written on October 4, 2013
I purchased this item because I was getting sick of having to readjust time and time again to grab a bottle of water while riding. This pack allows me to maintain my cadence and positioning while also getting the hydration I need. Very satisfied with it's performace and it's stupid-easy to clean and maintain. Looking forward to applying it to other outdoor excursions.

Dirty water bag for gravity filter

by arborrider, Written on September 10, 2011
I'm not an UltraLight tramper. But prefer light over heavy, simple over complex when it comes to my gear. My comfort driven side. The Platypus serves as a light weight dirty water reservoir for a DIY gravity water filter. Depending on the trip either the FrontierPro or the MSR/Platypus gravity filter is used. This DIY is significantly lighter (either less than 5oz or less than 8oz for total sys
