In Taiwan, there is usually heavy rain at mountain afternoon. Reb downpour jacket can resistant it. With a power strength jacket, it is warm and water proof in the winter. Most important, it is light to carry

Very waterproof

Put this through it's paces the day after I got it. Full day of torrential downpours. My upper stayed very dry. I got a large but could have gone a size bigger. This is just a shell and is pretty form fitting. I agree, these run a tad small. I would label this a summer rain jacket or business casual. Not much room for anything underneath.

Very waterproof

very thoughtful design. perfect fit keeps you cool while staying dry. use it n the early morning fog and dampness with a light layer underneath when it is still chilly. If I had to say one thing could use improvement, it's the storage space - an interior/chest pocket would make this the perfect adventure jacket to keep you dry.

Good and lightweight protection

Tested in the light rain, everything is okay. Well made I have no complaining about.
Good size hood perfectly protect from rain drops. Hood is big enough to cover helmet for mountaineering. Lightweight and good protection from elements.

Great jacket

Love the fit and features. Draw strings in all the right places. First rain test and I give this jacket a huge thumbs up. The hood is wonderful. Nice ridged bill to keep rain out of your face. The hood draw string is the best, once tightened it’s like wearing a ball cap, able to turn head sidewise and the hood travels with your head. You won’t just get a face full of hood. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good rain jacket.

Lightweight rain jacket

Thanks to Pertex Shield+, the jacket is lightweight but fully with waterproof function. I'm 5'10" and 143lbs. I pick the S size and it fit well. I think it is not only good for daily hiking but also casual walk in the town.
