Flashpoint On Point
Testing - I tested the Flashpoint Jacket in the best backyard a guy can ask for - Glacier National Park. Scrambling peaks, backcountry ski missions where weight was to be kept at a minimum.
Sizing/Fit - I am 145 pounds and 5'10", a medium in this jacket fit on point for that. Perfect sleeve length, not too much excess fabric around the chest and under the arms. Exceptional fit, athletic, and full coverage.
Expectations - Far exceeded expectations. I've never had a hard shell that could perform at such high level of aerobic output.

Slim, light, does the trick
This is a very light and portable, slim fitting shell. It cinches down in all the usual places (hood and waist) however the zip bulges out around the belly which is a little weird and annoying. Given the slim fit of mine (small, I'm 171cm and 70kg) I can't wear any major bulky layers, but tend to run hot anyway so this is a useful article for not too extreme cold. The koi orange is nice and bright. I can't yet comment on durability but it is very thin so I wouldn't recommend scuffing it against much of anything.
Pros:
- Light, bright
Cons:
- A little tight around the stomach given everywhere else fits great (and I have nothing to lose in that area)
Best Used for:
- Anything not too rough or requiring multiple layers if using this as an outer shell.

Incredibly lite hardshell jacket
As you know, we don't always need a hardshell jacket but also we have to carry around to prepare for a rainy day.
This jacket is very light compared to other hardshell. Incredibly.
When you go hiking, you don't mind carrying it in your bag.
Of course, you can cope with sudden weather changes.
I got size s. (Hegiht : 177cm, Weight : 68kg)
I have Vapour-Rise alpine lite jacket(Rab). It's also size s, too.
Flashpoint jacket has a little more body space than Vapour-Rise alpine lite jacket.
Get a one!

great and light
Feels great; 100% Waterproof, ultralight but still verry durable! Perfect Jacket for ultralight backpackers and hikers, or trailrunners! I like the little stuffbag, its the size of a tennisball, perfect!
