This is without question one of the lightest but warmest jackets on the market. I have Marmot Plasma Parkas which are great for the really cold weather. The Rab Infinity was a good choice for cold weather too but without the bulk. The material is super soft and durable. There is plenty of room to move and the hood is very handy. Such a great buy that I now have two!

Top notch down jacket. Well made, good loft and very light. Left hand zip may bother some, however quality of zip is very good so shouldn't be a problem

The nights get cold at the "marge of Lake Lebarge" and after a day of backpacking, even "Sam McGee" would agree, the Infinity will keep warmer than "Plumtree"

I think this is the perfect jacket to take always with you inside the backpack due to its "non existing" weight, to warm you in the camp site or belaying while climbing.
The only thing that I dont like is that it doesn´t have any rubber string to adjust it in the hips and also the side pockets come without zippers.
It is a good option also for the city or after sports.

I use this jacket for belaying while ice climbing, for chililng around the campsite in winter (and late fall/spring) and also on frigid days here in Boston. It's super light, very comfortable, and has bomber construction. This is my second purchase from Rab, and I'm getting more and more sold into their phenomenal quality.
