First off - they fit true to size. I bought a large and I'm 6'1 220 lbs and wear a 36 waist 32 inseam. Very breathable - eVent rocks and waterproof. I've taking them out in rain and sleet with no issues. My issues come in when I've used them as ski shells. They're just not well designed or tough enough for skiing. The scuff guards aren't large enough and the gaiter isn't the most resilient. I had few scuff tears on the bottoms from skis. If ski edges touch the shell fabric they slice easily. Only two thigh pockets and no waist adjustments. Vents work well. Zippers are ok but not high end ykk waterproof/resistant. For a no frills solid pair of eVent shell pants these do the trick. Not best for skiing but great for most other mountain camp hike activities.
