... I was looking for the lightest possible full-sized gaitor to use for thru-hiking, but I sent these back to Campsaver. The Rab Latok is a nice simple design with the ability to easily adjust the hypalon strap without the use of silly metal buckles. The eVent fabric is light weight, with reinforcements in the expected spots. I'm just not a fan of the massive velcro adjustment, even though it allows for affixing on different volume boots. If I were considering these for snow and alpine travel, I'd have kept them, but I'm in search of something even lighter.
