used these on 50 mile through hike in Olympics Sep '17 and was very pleased. Boot strap / lace clip didn't pose any problems or need re-adjusting throughout day once we set out. Nice gaitor, but I sent them back

... I was looking for the lightest possible full-sized gaitor to use for thru-hiking, but I sent these back to Campsaver. The Rab Latok is a nice simple design with the ability to easily adjust the hypalon strap without the use of silly metal buckles. The eVent fabric is light weight, with reinforcements in the expected spots. I'm just not a fan of the massive velcro adjustment...

Had a pair of the former Mansalu gaiters. Much preferred the buckle boot strap as you could cinch the gaiter down for a tight seal. You could also slip the gaiter on before putting your boot on without opening the front velcro. The velcro boot strap prevents both of these.
