Fit is way off - Rab Microlight Vest - Men's

First off, the good: Rab quality is top notch. And for a vest that’s billed as an ultralight, it has enough insulation to feel like you’re wearing more than an extra nylon shirt. Big plus for me is that it has an outside front pocket. Nearly none of the ultralight down &/or synthetic vests have this feature. Now the bad: THE FIT. Rab is usually a mixed bag for me with the only jacket fitting me the Rab Men's Infinity Jacket (Medium). I’m 5’8” 180lbs, 32 in waist, and 39 in chest. This vest is TIGHT, to the point of being a corset. This is especially true around the waist and midsection. I understand as an ultralight meant for activity, the best should be close to the body. But the measurements and cut is way off. I’ll try a large, but my guess is it will be too long and too wide in the shoulders.
