Most of the time I found the technical jacket are either the arms too long for a snug fit or body too tight when the arm length right (compare with my Black Diamond Liquid Point Shell jacket) But this jacket's cutting is just balance in between and i'm super happy for making my purchase decision. Also, it allows me to add a decent down mid-layer inside and because of the "room" that this jacket provided, the down can easily stay furry that trap as much as warm air inside which i can feel it immediately. The other thing is the outer fabric. I thought the 3-layer hard shell should be tough enough or maybe too tough to wear, but after a week of wearing in wet environment, i can say that the eVent membrane and outer fabric are easy to wear, more like a clothes than a "plastic shield" :) Finally the 2 V line chest pockets are big enough for map or even gloves but personally i prefer A line pockets which close to my belly that is more convenient for city travel. Overall I will recommend this jacket to people who haven't try the Rab's eVent yet. The Steel color is similar to dark grey color and I'm 5'11, 180lbs wearing L. Have a great day and stay safe everyone, thanks!
