I winter camped on the ice of Lake Michigan with this jacket. It was 17 degrees at 3pm. I am sure the temperature dropped after the sunset and the wind picked up. I was very warm in the jacket while standing outside talking with my fellow adventurers. The fit was spot on. The sleeves were a little long but no big issue really. I wish there was a larger pocket inside the jacket. There is a pocket just not really big like you see in other jackets.
