I live in a warm climate but was looking for an affordable waterproof, lightweight, easily packable warm jacket for trips to Iceland and later in the year to Patagonia. This is my first Rab product. I just completed my trip to Iceland where this jacket was really put to the test with the elements and it is perfect. Seriously! The other reviews say it all. However my favorite things about the jacket were the waterproof and wind blocking capabilities in sideways rain, snow, small hail and hurricane force winds (seriously!). Very Warm-Zipper Touchy

Great Jacket

Great Jacket - lightweight and warm. Folds into a small sack.
Fits great. I am 5'4" and 135 Lb and the Medium (UK 12) fits me perfect. CampSaver.com had the best price. I am a totally satisfied customer. Thank you!!

In LOVE

I demo-ed this jacket at the Ouray Ice Festival. It was the perfect belay jacket to go over my layering system of a wool base layer, Patagonia R1 hoodie, and Arc'teryx Psiphon hoodie. I was completely toasty. In addition, my hands wearing gloves wasn't warm enough, but when I put my bare hands in the pocket, they were completely fine in below freezing temperatures.

I also like the extended length as well to help close out any potential drafts. It's a tad bit longer in the back. I want to say it's fitted, but this is a belay jacket so it's super puffy and I doubt being "fitted" is of much concern. I usually wear a size small and this one has the perfect amount of space for layering.

Warm and water resistant jacket!

I ordered this jacket for a winter trip to Wyoming fearing that the North
Face down jacket in my closet wouldn't stand up to -20 temperatures. This jacket was great and just what I needed. The hood fit well and the jacket zipped up high and comfortable to keep out wind and snow. The hydrophobic down was really resistant to moisture. I am super pleased with this purchase and with all the great help I received from the folks at CampSaver!

Warm and toasty

I winter camped on the ice of Lake Michigan with this jacket. It was 17 degrees at 3pm. I am sure the temperature dropped after the sunset and the wind picked up. I was very warm in the jacket while standing outside talking with my fellow adventurers. The fit was spot on. The sleeves were a little long but no big issue really. I wish there was a larger pocket inside the jacket. There is a pocket just not really big like you see in other jackets.

Happy with my purchase.

This jacket I bought for hiking backpacking, hoever during storm 2016 this was my go to to keep warm. I hiked with it when temps were in highg 30's low 40's and it was too warm
