Perfectection - Rab Neutrino Endurance Jacket - Women's

I live in a warm climate but was looking for an affordable waterproof, lightweight, easily packable warm jacket for trips to Iceland and later in the year to Patagonia. This is my first Rab product. I just completed my trip to Iceland where this jacket was really put to the test with the elements and it is perfect. Seriously! The other reviews say it all. However my favorite things about the jacket were the waterproof and wind blocking capabilities in sideways rain, snow, small hail and hurricane force winds (seriously!). With wool base layers It was plenty warm on nights where we watched/searched for the Northern Lights 3-5 hours with temps from 0 to 34 and gusty winds. On the flip side it was never suffocating hot on the warmer days. The snag free Velcro cuffs is great (you just need one that snags to appreciate this feature!) and the pockets were incredibly warm, I love the longer length and the hood was awesome for keeping the pelting hail and sleet out of my face. Best winter gear purchase, I highly recommend this jacket. Only downside is that I look really puffy in it, not slimming at all for me. Other reviewers say otherwise though so check that out for yourself.
