I'm a fan of Rab, but their jackets are somewhat slim-fitting, so keep that in mind. There's not much else to say about the Nexus other than it's perfect for a wide range of outdoor activities during just about any temperature where a jacket is needed. When it's 40-60 degrees, wear it as your primary. Any colder and its light / thin nature makes for a terrific mid-layer beneath an outer shell. Heck, it's even really good when assuming the role of a casual, cozy, laying-around-the-house hoody.

The Nexus Jacket is stretchy and breathable - everything you'd associated with outerwear geared toward movement - but the thing that caught my attention the most was that it feels very lightweight in-hand, yet it packs a warm, insulating punch once you slip it on. As an added bonus, Rab always has great color options. It's superficial but c'mon ... most of us want to look good and stand-out!

Cons? I find the pocket placement to be a higher than I'd prefer. Also, they're constructed in an odd way. I don't think that I can accurately describe it, but the pockets themselves are made from a material that seems best suited for venting ... not carrying things. I'm sure that helps with the breathability, but I could see a scenario where something sharp (like your keys) could pierce through. It's not something that I'd worry too much about, but if I had to provide a negative, that would be it.

Oh, one more negative would be the price. I got a ridiculous discount from the Campsaver...
