Was looking for a midweight softshell for hiking and daily use in the pacific northwest. Wanted something that would stand up to showers, add some warmth, and look good enough to wear anytime. This jacket is perfect and the quality of Rab's gear is awesome [this is my fourth Rab jacket]
Would recommend: Yes

Research should tell you that this jacket is basically the Rab Exodus jacket except it has a fleece backing. The fleece is very thin, though, so it doesn't add much weight, but I can imagine it adds 10-15 degrees worth of warmth, making it a bit more than a shell.
My only problem with the jacket, and this is the same with all Rab jackets, is the tight hem. It seems silly to have a drawstring on
