Best hiking/backpacking jacket i've used - Rab Strata Hoodie - Mens

I've owned several hiking jackets and this one, without a doubt, is the best I've used. The reason is because of it's amazing balance of breathability, lightweight, wind and water resistance, and warmth. The fact that the hood doesn't restrict my peripheral vision is a huge plus and another reason I bought this jacket. I mainly use this for hiking/backpacking and it's proven itself. I recently did a 15 miler and the the temps were in the upper 30s (F) and the jacket kept me perfectly warm with only using a thin base layer underneath. When the temps got a little warmer during the day, I wasn't overheating in the jacket due to the breathable characteristic of the material and design. I've been so impressed with this jacket that I bought a second one to use around town.
