This jacket does everything it was made for. It is warm yet breathable when you start to move. I was skeptical about the windproof rating while still achieving breathability but it stood true when climbing during a windy day. I did not feel any wind whatsoever come through the jacket. Will also keep you warm well into the 30 degree range if layered well.
