Lightweight but solid - Rab Stretch Neo Gaiter - Mens

these gaiters single handedly sold me on "neo shell" fabric. 4 days in the Denali backcountry through glacial river crossings, deep mud, bushwhacking high willow, brush and tundra and these were one of my favorite pieces of gear. they worked. they were smartly designed. i really liked the drawstring up top for a tight fit and seal. they didn't rip or tear or wear even though we were, at (many) times, just plowing through brush. they were comfortable, i didn't notice them, always a great thing with good gear. they stayed dry, in Denali, after going through daily rivers, somehow (!), while managing to be lighter than the Rab Laktok ones i left at home. so, yeah, kind of awesome. really loving all the rab gear, one of my new favorite brands alongside sea to summit.
