this required a LOT of doctoring to make it palatable. The backpackers pantry chili (new flavor) is way better, though it gave me horrible gas, lol. This is bland and a real disappointment from Good To Go, who usually make some of my favorite backcountry meals.

edible for sure, but was wishing the whole time it was chicken vindaloo instead... most of the indian style flavors are pretty great, but this one is just a bit bland.

This is one of the better Backpacker's Pantry flavors, despite being vegetarian. I've tried the Good To Go chili and thought this was a WAY better flavor. It did, however, give me horrible gas (which I am very not prone to). There, I said it. Not one to take if you're in a tent with a new friend. Haha Otherwise, delicious. I'll buy it again.

have the larger bear vault as well and got this smaller one for shorter trips cause the price was right on campsaver. i prefer bear containers because the last thing i want to do after a long hike in is find a suitable tree to do a hang on, and if you are above the tree line then good luck without one. plus, these double as a stool and are clear, which i like. tough, easy enough to open, and straight sided. this size is easier to get into a backpack as well. for 2 people, in general, i would say get the bear vault 500 instead of this (its amazing how fast these things fill up) but for quick trips, this is great. I love our Soto stove. It's built to last, and smartly designed, made in Japan, not China. The 15,000BTU burners are powerful and it will boil water in what feels like an instant. Set up is reasonably easy and so far I haven't felt the need to even use the wind screens. Sometimes 15,000 BTU s feels like too much stove though, even on the lowest simmer setting. I'm still getting used to this. It's fantastic for things like heating sauce, boiling pasta, making coffee etc... But maybe less desirable for pancakes and eggs. I'll bring a heftier pan in the future and that should help keep things from burning. Grates can easily hold up to any weight pot and it comes with an adapter, so you can use big refillable propane bottles or the smaller camp stove sized ones.

got tired of bad, overly acidic instant coffee (even the packaged stuff from the coffee company on every other corner was pretty terrible). this makes great coffee! as a bonus, it seems a LOT easier to clean up after than a french press, which is nice when you're camping in back or front country, and especially in bear country. Just throw the filter containing the grounds in your trash bag and pack it out, nothing to wipe down, no messy loose grounds to deal with. And this thing collapses to be quite small. yes, the grounds are extra weight to carry out, but good coffee is worth it to me, and this makes GOOD coffee. cons are it does use quite a few paper filters, which is a bummer and the grounds will weigh more, obviously, to pack out. You can, however, make a bunch into multiple cups or a thermos at once, reducing filters used. pros: i own an aeropress and its awesome when the seal works correctly, but I've found this to make just as delicious coffee and be less messy, so i have started to use this thing at home as well. get yo self one!

Recently rediscovered the joys of front country camping, and using our backpacking tent for that made no sense. So we got this. I love this design. There is zero reason for a full coverage rain fly on a car camping tent, zip up windows are absolutely the way to go. If it starts pouring in the middle of the night, you don't need to go outside and adjust/put on the fly. You can just seal the windows from inside. The difference with this tent is that marmot gives you the option of adding a "porch" add on that will easily fit a few mountain bikes and gear, or a few dogs, and is a really nice feature if the weather is cruddy. Wish it were a hair taller, but enough room to stand up and change in. I'm 5'7" and can stand in the middle if I slouch. Dimensions are actually really close to published specs. Small enough to set up very quickly is another bonus. And not uber heavy compared to other tents in this class.

Not quite as loud as I'd like, but loud enough for you and a friend to enjoy. Attaches to the bike well with the included mount. I would never use headphones while riding a bike, but this thing is super fun. I've had some surreal music video like moments riding through the world with this. Have even used it on my mountain bike and it's stayed on perfectly. After one pairing, it pairs automatically with my Samsung s5 when I turn it on. Enjoy using it with streaming radio.

Super light, even tricked out with a gear loft and footprint, with all stuff bags, lines and stakes, it weighs 4lbs 5.5oz on my kitchen scale :). packs small. without the add ons tent is completely true to trail weight. Not exactly true to floor size specs (has any tent ever been?) with the tent coming in at closer to 47-48 inches in width. we have two 25" wide Nemo pads and they don't fit together without overlapping in Nemo's 50" wide tent. Head room is pretty good, and the top cross bar really adds a lot of feeling of space. Sets up very very quickly. No condensation issues so far, and have used it in the PNW rainforest and the high Utah desert. Dries quite quickly, and stays dry inside in the rain. I really like the overall warmth of the tent. The high bathtub floor is excellent and keeping it warm in there, though it also offers excellent ventilation options with either of the two vestibules open or the fly completely off. I recommend getting a gear loft. I love ours. Excellent handy storage, and i just leave it installed in the tent when it gets packed up. something like 2oz of weight. The single pole system works out nicely, though it may appear initially confusing, its very simple. two doors is a must for me, and to deliver that at this weight is awesome. great tent, easy to tension too.

Got the Nemo gear loft for our Dagger 2p , and it was a nice addition. Since it's a smaller tent for two people, this was worthwhile for longer trips. It fits nicely and weighs about 2 oz or less in my kitchen scale. It's large enough to pop your jacket up there or some clothes... There is a light diffusing pocket and several others. Pretty straightforward. Happy to have it.
