I bought this jacket for walking and playing golf. Used it for the first time yesterday afternoon at golf when the weather turned sour- the wind blew strongly and the temp dropped. Very impressed with the windproofness and the amount of warmth from the lining. I was able to swing freely with the jacket on. The hand pockets are half mesh/half micro fibre- complete Micro fibre lined pockets would make it an even better jacket. Very pleased with my purchase.

Pertex layer really works great to move moisture away from the body. I have been using this as a base/mid layer and and always comfortably dry and warm even after a hard session of skinning.

I am going to use the Rab Vapour-Rise Lite Jacket for cool morning, cool evenings during the spring and fall. To warm for MN summers and too cold for MN Winters, a great transition jacket.
