I'm a new guy to Rab. I purchased the Xenon X as an all round outer and layering piece - for cold & wet conditions to wear under a shell. It got great ratings from independent sources. It is the bomb! I use it for cold weather fly fishing snowshoeing, snow shoveling and just hanging out. Super light, thin and warm, slides on under a shell easily, great in wind, perfect. The X has new, synthetic insulation with a lot less bulk, which is not real breathable, if you're real active. I'm not - I have "people..."
