Great Addition
I have three kids - 8,5,1. Whether we are going to the park for the day or camping for the weekend, the ribz front pack is coming along. On a day trip to the park I carry the baby on my back. There is plenty of room in the ribz pack for snacks, pb&j, Capri suns, diapers and wipes. While car camping for the weekend, I carry items like fire starters, cooking aids and knives. I give this pack 5 stars because it's durable, easy to clean and carries what I need in the right configuration.

My New "Daypack"!!!
The Ribz Front Pack has replaced my daypack for hikes and peakbagging! I use it in conjunction with a hydration bladder, and have shaved a tremendous amount of weight off my daily hiking gear! On longer backpacking trips, the Ribz is a great place to store your 10 Essentials. It fits well under a backpack harness. In fact, putting some of your small gear in FRONT of you, may allow you to carry a SMALLER backpack!

Used this pack on 3 day 15 mile backpack trip.performance was excellent.always had over 20 small items in pack.

Really don't know why someone didn't invent this a long time ago. Works great on the trail to keep items handy & shift a little weight forward.

like the design. unfortunatelt the depth is a little lacking for my wants/needs.
the medium is just a little lacking in depth for use with my standard camera/lens combo. still an excellent product. maybe the large when they get them in. i'll still use this (the medium) with a lighter camera.

Great pack!!!
I used the RIBZ front pack with and without a backpack. This is a great addition to any day hike or overnight to allow easy access to items that you may need frequently or in a hurry. It is very comfortable and does no interfere with your backpack or hiking poles. I highly recommend it for anyone who hikes in any capacity.

Front Pack review
The jury is still out...at this point I have worn it cycling and once it is adjusted it functions OK. Luckily I have a selection of water bottles and a 6 oz bottle fits in a large pocket. Camera , snacks etc fit into the pockets. I have not had the opportunity to use it backpacking just some day hikes. It is pricy for the 4 compartments and some straps... Thanks....

More useful than you'd think!
I used my front pack on a 22 mile hike and found that it fit very well with my Osprey Atmos 65 pack, with no uncomfortable rubbing on my shoulders. Having essential gear up front made it easy to continue without un-necessary stops to dig through my larger pack. The front pack is great for keeping snacks, first aid kits, radios, or hand guns accessible on the trail.
