This thing is tough as nails...I've traveled with it all over, and it's the one backpack I always use. It has a great handle on the top and bottom, that make airplane exits much quicker. I've skiied with it, and protects my camera gear with the included pouch, and has a separate pocket for skins + avy gear. It even has a compression strap included that can be used for just about anything. On a roadtrip to Utah, it was raining the whole drive and the pack was in the bed of the truck (too many passengers), and everything stayed dry! With multiple ski carry options, I can carry my 5 year olds skis as well as my own...and everything else that comes with family ski days. The fleece lined pocket fits my iphone 7 plus perfectly, and is really comfortable to carry on longer hikes. I've even backpacked with it, using a 1 man tent and down bag! I have a bunch of other packs, but this is always the one I use because it does everything, has a ton of features, its really comfortable...and it looks real good. The laser etched wooden stay on the back might be my favorite part though...
