I really liked these boots and they felt great on the short (2-3 mile) urban hikes I went on to put some mileage on them before heading out to the woods. In the woods though, the rocky and hilly terrain helped drive home the fact that the toe box was just too narrow for my feet. I ended up getting a blisters on the top of my pinky toes, which was a first. Nevertheless, they really did seem to be a solid, well-constructed boot and they did keep my feet dry the entire week while I tromped through streams and puddles. They just weren't the right fit for me unfortunately.
