Great For Dry Conditions
This is a comfortable, durable shoe. The "rocker" style of the sole took some time to get used to, but worked well on the trail. The biggest downside to the shoe is that it does not shed mud that gets packed into the tread.

Salewa fan but these didn't work for me
I own a wonderful pair of Salewa boots that I really enjoy. Unfortunately their hiking shoes didn't work for me. The toe box was too narrow, so much so that my large toe was painful after wearing the same size shoes as my boots 20 minutes around the house. They seem well built as all the Salewa I've owned are but there isn't much give for break-in so I'll return them for something different.

New skips for Yosemite
Recently ordered a pair of Salewa shoes for trip upcoming in September. Good quality and support. Just trying to break them in for the hike up Lembert Dome in Tuolumne Meadows. Great customer service from Campsaver. Had order within 5 days. Thanks!
