It's light, dries fast and out of the box, they're amazingly comfortable. I'm glad I didn't get the gtx version with goretex. I'd much rather have 60% better ventilation 100% of the time, than being dry when there's water. The ankle isn't high enough to stop splashes going in the shoe, without gaiters.
