Peregrines are my favorite trail shoes. Reliable and last quite a while. I've used them for all of my trail races. They're the only shoe that consistently does what I need to on the trails. Every time a new model comes out I buy multiple pairs in my size.

I have always used Nike trail shoes (Wildhorse, Kiger) and loved them until I tried the Saucony Peregrine. I will never go back! I'm on my second pair and the support and traction of the Peregrine is far superior, especially for a larger runner like myself. They also have a wider toe box than my previous Nike models, which I didn't really notice until trying something else. The Peregrine also handle water amazingly. I've gone through creeks and don't feel like I'm slogging my way through the rest of my run.
Pros:
Traction
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Trail running
Trail running in dry or damp conditions
