AT thru hiker. The bags lasted me about 4 weeks then started leaking round the spout. I had read all the reviews and thought maybe they squeezed to hard. I was careful but the bags just didn't hold up. I trust the filter completely never got sick.

The size and weight fit me well for the needs of hiking and camping trip for days. I believe it's not the most "powerful" filter but no double it's the most handy one. I used to filter the water from river/stream and boil it to make sure it's safe to drink. It's highly recommended.

I spent about a year researching all the different water filtration systems
and settled on the sawyer squeeze despite the repeated claims of leaky bags. I'm so
glad I did it's been an amazing piece of gear I've had zero leaks I never worry about having clean drinking water for camp or while hiking. It's easy to use the water flows easily through the filter. I also read reviews complaining about it

It's perfect and does exactly what it needs to do. I laugh at anyone carrying around one of those heavy pump style filters. Though this is my first water filter its obvious that this is a big step up on the competition in terms of size and weight without sacrificing anything that I've noticed. Its also more flexible in that it can be attached directly to a drinking bottle or you can route your hyd

Great product. Works perfectly. There have been no issues with the product since purchase. Use is just as easy as it is shown in the video. It is very light, compact, and takes up almost no space in the pack at all. I love it. My friends love it. And you will, too.

a compact portable water filter. The micron rating ensures all water born pathegons are removed from water sources. It will not remove heavy metal or nitrite/nitrate contaimination. The filter has a million gallon service life. You should make provisions to protect it from freezing once used with water. An inside pocket of a jacket will be enough.

It's the perfect water filter, does everything you could want and more. Will attach direct to your water bottle and you can route your hydration system through it. Its light, small and appears to leave the competition in the dust who are still selling heavy, complicated equipment which requires maintenance after use. Seems like an easy choice!

I don't like hauling a lot of water if it is available throughout the trail. The Sawyer allowed me to fill the pouch when ever I passed water and drink straight from the filter. If I had a long stretch without water, I would fill multiple pouches and filter on the way into a bottle with drink mix or again straight from the filter/pouch. I hate to pump water standing on a rock in a steam, so now I

Its just simply the best waterfilter for backpacking trips. Why wouldnt you want the lightest and greatest filter? If you dont like the taste of idea of chemicals to filter your water, pick this one up. The only downfall is that its a bit difficult to fill up with water in a shallow pond because the soft waterbottle closes in and doesnt allow the water to flow in.
