Very well made boots designed for heavy backpacking loads. Break-in is as expected, you can't get a well made leather boot without some time to mold the footbed to each individual's foot. I doubt that I will be able to wear them out but if so, I will return to Scarpa.I ordered the Zamberlain 996 Vioz GT first from [@] and while they are well constructed, they were not as stable (ankle support)as
