Just what I was looking for...

I have used the T1 for resort and backcountry skiing, and it performed well in all conditions. I'm still waiting for the heel to break-in as it pinches just a bit.

bulky from traditional T2 skier

Boots are not what I expected. I have spent 15 years in lightweight boots, T2s for the last 10+ years. I expected more stiffness that would provide a little more power. What I'm experiencing is a high alpine like boot that takes away my feel of the snow and my ability to get a real snug fit. The boot feels a bit sloppy in the toe box and heel even when buckled to the last notch. My feet are s
