Boot fits true to size and didn't require a long break in period. Wore them ice climbing in 30 degree temps and kept foot warm. also like that the boots feel light weight and have some flex.

Well it is a very comfortable not to stiff for a lower scale mountaineering boot however the sizing of the 44.5 is supposed to be an 11 however I truly believe that is more like a 10. I checked all other websites no body has complained about sizing except for a reviewer at backcountry site. he had the same issue with the 44.5 so I truly believe it is just that mold size. other that it seemed to be a real good boot hated to return but they did not have a replacement available.

Fantastic boot for any and all snow sports. I have yet to try the boot for summer hiking but can't see any reason why it wouldn't be a great fit for that as well. Very comfortable and durable, fits well with crampons and snowshoes, sole grips rock well and is stiff enough for moderate 5th class alpine climbing.
