O.K. I own the Lowa's, Salewa, Asolo, haglofs, yada yada yada, I have a complete collection of different boots and I am happy to own these asolo's. Now they are a very stiff boot boot for a lower scale mountaineerin boot however very comfortable to walk in and I like that good support. I actually own several pair of the asolo moran's which are a backpacking boot but I wanted something a little stouter and this Gv 's fit the bill. no breakin period and very well built. Actually I was very surprised at the quality of this boot that they were not sold out with the price campsaver had offered during their clearance. Highly recommend . again remember very stiff but great support. and easy to walk in.
Well it is a very comfortable not to stiff for a lower scale mountaineering boot however the sizing of the 44.5 is supposed to be an 11 however I truly believe that is more like a 10. I checked all other websites no body has complained about sizing except for a reviewer at backcountry site. he had the same issue with the 44.5 so I truly believe it is just that mold size. other that it seemed to be a real good boot hated to return but they did not have a replacement available.
