Great all mountain ski
I like the fact that it’s 100 mm under foot yet has only an 18meter turn. Good all round shape for groomers, crud and moderate powder. At 178 it’s stable and easy to initiate a turn. Scott has always done nice things with ski shape that makes this ski do well on both short and long turns. The 178 works great out west where we usually don’t need a big turn , big mountain ski. If I were to ski more off piste I might go with the 188.
